SBA Incorporated
SBA was established in July 2021 by a group of Samskrita Premis from Melbourne and Sydney who are committed to the goals of Samskrita Bharati Global organisation. We are grateful that we had tremendous help from SB Singapore, SB Bengaluru and SB Delhi to kickstart our activities in Australia. This continues to this very day.
Our eco system has now extended to include SB USA, SB Canada, SB Indonesia. SBA Inc. is managed by a Team of Swayam Sevaks or Volunteers. Our Volunteers come from all walks of life. They are IT Professionals, Engineers, Doctors, Insurance Executives, School Teachers, CEO's etc., Many are actively employed whilst others are retired and semi-retired. All of us bring our Professional experience in running this institution.

Our Mission
The basic mission of our organisation is to democratise and popularise Sanskrit by encouraging the use of simple Sanskrit in everyday conversational contexts. The primary impetus is on direct Sanskrit language instruction through Sanskrit itself as the medium of instruction.
Motivation
Sanskrit is the best tool to remove the five types of social differences; linguistic, class, caste, sect and the regional differences. A basic goal is to create a Community of Sanskrit speakers, Creating a unity through common linguistic practice.
Another one of the main premises of the movement is to allow direct access to the vast storehouse of the Sanskrit textual tradition
The organisation's philosophy is that listening and speaking must precede reading and writing as against grammatical instruction and emphasis on systematic memorisation. Samskrita Bharati instead focuses its energies on immersion through conversation. A common aphorism used in our literature is: "Speak in Samskrit, not about Samskrit.
Samskrita Bharati Australia is primarily a volunteer-driven organisation, with volunteers from all walks of life spending time educating people to speak Sanskrit. OUR most popular offering is the 10-day capsule of two-hour classes designed to impart simple Sanskrit conversational skills.
